Parks
The City of Rice is located approximately 5 miles north of Little Rock Lake.
A channel connects Little Rock Lake with the Mississippi River, which runs
along the western city limits of Rice. A recently developed boat landing on the
channel offers access to both Little Rock Lake and the Mississippi River.
On the edge of Rice, where the Mississippi River and Platte Rivers converge,
There is also campging available at Benton Beach Campgrounds which is located on the NW corner of Little Rock Lake. Benton Beach Campground offers wooded tracts, shoreline of Little Rock Lake, play area, and
softball field.

For the avid golfers, the local 18 hole golf course and driving range, "Oak

Hill Golf Club," is a chance for a fun and relaxing round of golf. In addition

to the local golf course, many of the Central Minnesota's other fine golf

courses are within a 20 minute drive.
The Graves Farm, a County acquistion as of August 12th, 2002, is talked about in future park plans.
Rice is located just minutes from a wide variety of parks/recreation activities.
