Building Permits/Certificate of Occupancy

No building or structure shall hereafter be erected, moved, or construction on an existing structure started until a lawful building permit has been issued by the Building Official or his/her designated representative.     

Building permit applications are available at Rice City Hall.  The permit fee shall be based on the valuation of the project determined by the Building Inspector.  All permits are issued by the Building Inspector, Nancy Scott, who meets by appointment.
